We liked this hip new hotel. the rooms were brand-new, tidy, and with comfortable beds. - the property was next to San Jose Central Market, the bus station, and the central bus terminal. - It was also close to a bustling market.

our experience was really comfortable from the moment we checked in, would stay here again. the room we got was a nice size and en suite with nice private bathroom, comfortable bed, for example. all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. Big bed in the economy double room, plus a work desk and a TV with satellite channels.

Stayed here for 4 nights and appreciated my choice. Knowledgeable staff, provided useful info. This was a great and perfect location close enough to bus stations and attractions, capital, and La Fortuna.

I was really impressed with the value for money at La Castella. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main shopping center and all the city attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast choices could be improved, maybe add some more variety.

The staff at the hotel were amazing and went above and beyond to help me when my phone was stolen outside. They were kind and supportive during a difficult situation. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with cool air conditioning and a hot shower. I also appreciated the amenities such as Netflix and TV in the room.

One major downside was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. The thin curtains allowed a lot of light to enter the room at night from the hallway, which made it difficult to sleep.
